No I'm not joking! Geez!
A friend of mine was working on a video project, and she invited Sarah and I out to be part of the crowd (Well, Sarah, got to be part of the crowd, and I got to be one of the street fighters.) as part of a multimedia project they're doing. My character was TOTALLY like the Russian guy in Rocky IV who kills a black dude, I was that scary! =D
OK, well, maybe I wasn't scary, and I may have stung like a butterfly, and floated like a bee, but seriously, people, I don't do mock-up fights. It was hard not to just give in and ACTUALLY punch and kick, instead of 'faking' the fight for the camera. But it was pretty fun. I got to stand around while they talked in Dutch, and then every once and a while, they would say, "OK Brennon, you need to go over there and let him beat you up now. Make sure you don't get out of the way of the camera." Yeah. =D

This is me giving my best "I want to beat up the main protagonist, but I know I will really go down in round three" pose.
This is me and Franciose (I have no clue how to spell his name...Fran-swah? Yeah, I'm learning french real good. Tres bien, Brennan.) and F-man was the 'lead' hero. Sarah was TOTALLY supposed to be in this picture, but my friend Marijke (Who, incidentally, was the one who invited me for the video) decided that Sarah was better as half a Sarah than a full Sarah in this picture. Also, my camera is nearly unworkable by anyone but me, as many of you, I'm sure, can attest. Anyways, F-man was really helpful, and basically explained to me most of what was going on when I wore my best "I'm a foreigner and what you just said to me was foreign to me" look. I do that a lot. The end seen where he beats me up with me pinned to the ground looked really good on camera, but he basically put his knee in my crotch and pushed down every time he fake punched me.
It was pretty awesome. It was totally like a real fight.
This is Marijke giving me her best one-two. As you can see, I wear tough clothes, and have my hands taped (In, uh, medical bandages...whatever. They look the same from far away.) but really, I'm a cream puff, as Marijke's non-effort finishing move can attest. She's smiling, SMILING, for heaven's sake. I totally got worked.
In other news, I have pink eye again, and it is most certainly allergy season. LOL.
