This is a typical family moment. My dad is a goofball, my brother was a big goof when he was a kid, and I was that I was last in line for making bunny ears.
If you didn't catch the philosophy joke, it's from Descartes. Anyways, it's less philosophical today because everything about today is totally backwards. I'm not thinking clearly or distinctly because I'm lacking so much sleep. It's been a weird couple of days, and for some reason my spell-checker and grammar-checker quit in the middle of my Descartes essay. I'm not amused. So, needless to say, I'll be working hard at editing my essay VERY CAREFULLY tomorrow morning before I hand it in. I might even do a paper swap with a friend of mine. Well, I can hope, anyways.

Great irony.
Descartes gets a bum rap. So many of the western world's problems get blamed on him. I hope the essay goes well, and teh spell/grammar checks come back to life. Was that a Cartesian hope?
Blessings
Kevin,
You bet it was. It never revived itself for some reason. I think part of the document was corrupt because it would just crash around page 11, but luckily, nothing bad happened to either my computer or my essay, and by extension, my sanity.
Catch that Descartes joke? Oh man, I'm on FIRE. =D
