I could never appreciate Wrath of Kahn because of Ricardo Montalban's pectoral muscles. I just find him creepy. The best one is the Voyage Home. I like the dolphins. And it's funny ... I appreciate that.
But, though I only have Phil 110.6, I think that the needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few only stands up if you are assuming a that individual human happiness is the goal ... the greatest good for the greatest number of people. Then again, I suppose you can't really reason something out without first making an assumption. But I don't know exactly what I'm talking about, either. Someone enlighten me. I'm out of my element.

It is illogical to do logic all day.
My logic prof back in the day was a good guy. He let me withdraw from class on the last day. I hadn't thought about him for a long time. Thanks.
Live long and prosper.
Yes I know, über-geeky, but you mentioned logic, and when logic comes up how can u not think of the Vulcans. Remember,
The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.
