OK.
I'm doing something so incredibly crazy that I probably shouldn't.
Oh well.
Now, anyone, even if they don't have a blog, can comment on my web log.
*Cringe*
*Waiting for loads of flamer-mail, junkmail comments, and other variations of nastiness.*
*Hope the people who begged Brennan to do this are happy*
So, yes, I'll be doing a lot of deleting of comments, but I'm here to appease...I mean please. Something like that. *Grin*
Happy All Souls and Saints Day, too.
Which are national holidays in Belgium.
Now I really am asking for hate mail.
Geez.

This is excellent! Thank you! I understand the candy issue. Even though we're in a secure building and the odds we were going to get trick-or-treaters was low, we bought a box of mini chocolate bars. It's just as well we didn't have any kids show up...we wouldn't have had enough candy left.
See...now there's someone who gets the importance of Halloween. Halloween is a sacred holiday wherein one must buy candy seemingly for other people, and yet really use candy as an excuse to gorge oneself.
St. Augustine has something to say about this in his three or four treatisies about falsehood and lying.
Now I feel guilty. Dang.
However, the candy WAS bought in goodwill. The outcome, however, it rather....uh.....gluttonous.
I need to go to confession. =(
