That's right, everyone! Your favourite non-radio contest comes back to haunt you (and me!) once again! This time, the contest is "Guess that mystery item." I thought of making this mystery item while sitting doodling during one of my many mind wanderings whilst doing my research paper. I also learned many random things about celebrities, including the band Weezer, while attempting to work. (We can see how well all that working turned out, generally speaking.) Anyways, for those of you who have never played, the rules are as follows:
1. If you can guess this mystery item first, then you get a prize! I will do up to FOURTH place this time! =D
2. The first place prize is a piece of artwork of your choice by MOI. I know, I know, you're thinking, "Why would I want a piece of..." BUT YOU JUST HOLD THAT THOUGHT. YOU'RE GOING TO TRY TO WIN AND LIKE IT. So, if you're the winner, you can ask me to make anything! And I will! You want to see your favourite band in watercolours? I'll do it! Want to see an intergalactic battle between clay figurines of the Masters of the Universe, including He-Man- who's-technically-even-better-than-the-Masters-of-the-Universe-at-everything-which-seems-slightly-contradictory? I can do that, too! (NB: I love He-Man.) Second place: You get to choose a place in Western Europe which you would like me to go! =D I'll send you a post-card! =D Third and fourth place will get something equally terrible. =D
3. The submissions must be e-mailed to me. Otherwise, I don't have the fun of checking my e-mail to see who won. If you don't know my e-mail, just ask me for it, and I'll tell you in some way.)
4. If you ask me to do some art on a physical medium, I will send you the physical copy, after uploading the results on my blog. Yay copy for you!
5. The new rule, concerns timing. I realize that not everyone checks my blog religiously/regularly/frequently/once in a while, and I would like to give these slackers/lazy people/non-Brennan-worshipers a chance to try and win something. (Even though we all know that my brother Tyler doesn't deserve to win, nevertheless, I am being merciful.) The first entry that I will accept will be on April 7, Friday 12AM, EST! Unless you live in China, since everyone knows that China only has one time zone, in which case just do whatever your government tells you to! =D
OK, here is the mystery item!
I was missing one component which I was going to add to make it even more obvious, (And even MORE COOL LOOKING, if that is possible) but I think given the easy-ness of this particular one, most people shouldn't have a problem with it. Also, I accidentally threw out the other component, so we make do. The contest must go on! =D

So, wait, I can't guess what it is until Friday? Well, that doesn't do me any good. I'll have to remember to come back Thursday night at 11 local! You know, Brennan, nobody is currently using EST? The country switched to Daylight Savings Time this weekend.

Everyone: Just be quiet. Don't make eye-contact and it will go somewhere else. You came here to say something relevant, we presume. Get on with that.
Travis: Oh, right. So, Brennan, this requires too much effort. If we just fly to Europe we get the second place prize without nearly as much effort. Also, where to we send our submissions, do we email them or post them here?
Actually, the timing thing was just so that Willem didn't insta-win, which is probably what would have happened. Not that I don't think Willem has a 40-90% of insta-winning anyways.
Also, I know no one uses EST now, but I do it so it's like you actually have to TRY, since the mystery item really isn't that hard. I had to do something to up the competition value. =D I'm sure you know the time difference anyways. If I can figure it out, people with better math skills/google skills than me (ie. everybody) can figure it out.
Also, if you'll note, in the RULES, it says that I will only accept e-mail submissions. Mr. Ericson has already disqualified himself, unfortunately, for not reading the rules very carefully and trying to presubmit before Friday. Don't let this happen to you! Friends don't let friends cheat! =D
