I Write Like

This website is fun.  It's called I Write Like, and compares a paragraph you write to tell you which famous author you write like.  Here's the text I put in, just for fun:

Last week I went to the market. There I saw dead corpses of various kinds, shopping. Unlike my best friend, this I did not find to be an exagerration of reality. Instead, as I passed a young girl, who looked like she had drowned in a river, I thought to myself, "What an interesting shade of blue she has turned." The store was eerily quiet, and smelled of death, although not unpleasantly so. I could still pass between the aisles of potato chips and twizzlers without too much ado. Instead of picking up my favourite brand of shampoo that day, I decided I was in for a bit of a change. I moved past a wailing woman in chains, and as she rattled, picked up a pleasant orange-coloured bottle that said cheery things about what it would do to my hair once I got home and had a much-needed shower. The wailing woman rattled her chains angrily, again. I assumed she wanted the same shampoo I did. Too bad I took the last bottle. Why does a woman in chains need grocery store shampoo? I had no idea.

Videogames are the bane of my existence

I accidentally let a friend in my class send me a video game called Plants vs. Zombies last week and IT TOOK OVER my life. Smiling plants and zombies are clearly my Achilles heel for time wasting.

But I love this game.

I found a REALLY great site with ways you can make little south park characters! =D Here's are a few I made! I will probably make this my new time waster! =D =D =D =D

BreadnButter, I don't think I've seen anything more unbelievably cute than a piece of bread with dog features. If you like time-waster games, this is worth a look. Unfortunately, you need to buy stuff from the site to get most of the points, but other than that, this is really cute and it's about baking, so I get into it, and you can easily spend hours doing this thing.

Something even, er, MORE special

You should check out this website. It has interactive games where you play a psychatrist for stuffed animals with psychological illnesses. It is BEYOND cute and funny. Totally check it, it's moving and an interesting comment on psychoanalysis. Scary. =)

Rock, Paper, Paper

Today I found an online rock, paper, scissors game.

I made it all the way to round 7 by choosing scissors all the time. Because, y'know, I'm sharp.

I should be picking paper, but that's assuming that paper is going to beat thesis defence.

It's a strange day, but very nice here. I need a nap. Maybe I'll sleep for a bit before I go to work. Yawn.
