Well, that was new

Huh, I just got hit with Windows AntiVirus2008, the newest malware on the net.

Well, thankfully, it only took like 15 minutes to destroy, but I was very, very angry. I can't decide if the video codec for some video I watched who-knows-when had some sort of time sensitive malware attachment, or if me just being connected wirelessly to the Internet somehow just made me prone to someone going through my firewall/Norton lame-o virus protection.

(Actually, what I really think is what happened is that Martin downloaded it onto my computer, and he just flat-out lied about it, but being suspicious will get me nowhere.) However, I've read a couple other forum stories, where people basically started up their desktop and an unwanted friend had moved in. =/ So, however they're doing it, they're pretty smart about it.

I think the thing that made me really mad is that they have this horrible, horrible desktop wallpaper that installs with the program that is literally just an advertisement about how very infected your computer is. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE wallpaper, and it's like....really, really mean when someone messes with my wallpaper. I was this close to sending them an angry letter! (Even if they would have sent me more malware. =P)

Huh, I think that would make a good wallpaper theme.

Well, for your viewing pleasure, I have FINALLY started using Photoshop, and boy, what a difference. Man this is a powerful program. I can do things now in one click I didn't even realize. BONUS! To commemorate said occasion, here are two special wallpapers...I couldn't decide which I liked best...could you maybe let me know??? In the comments?? Please???? I like the small bunny because smaller is better, but I also like the big bunny because, well, because that was probably what took the longest, and I hate to lose the detail, even if it is bad! Sigh. Be aware these are large files. =)

Anyways, it is Easter, and this is a very important time for Christians, and as a Catholic it's super huge. It is a massive time of change, it is the time of change for the better. Somebody just died, but if you're not careful, you'll miss the punchline. Easter is a happy time because it is the beginning of spring and the beginning of new life, physically and religiously the end of a season of death. For me this year, my focus is now on looking towards to the end of the season of death, which I guess we would call sin, and look towards goodness, inner strength and peace, and forwards to the rising of the dead, from old life to new life. Easter is the time for change, so if there is something in your life which needs changing, fixing, or deliberating on, now is the perfect time. Nothing will last forever, which will always be a reason to celebrate and a reason to cry. But while we're still alive, we have a chance to be a little closer to who we really want to be.

Take the time to change.

New Wallpaper!

Well, it's been a while, but I've finally made some new wallpaper. (Uh...for the desktop.) Anyways, My pen has (somewhat) started working again (no dropping it anymore, I guess) and so to commemorate this wonderful occasion, I decided I need 'Quebecian' wallpaper. It turned out alright, most of my problems I had come from the fact that the JPEG pixelated a bit, (to compensate, this is a huuuuuuge jpeg, just so you're aware) and the fact that my free corel software doesn't allow you to do basically ANYTHING with layers (I found this out in a rather unpleasant fashion once I was done the line art, and I nearly cried.) and since I don't feel like tweaking it much, (might break!) here it is...some winter wallpaper...because I couldn't find anything nicer on the internet to put on my desktop (have I told you that I'm nuts for desktop wallpaper?). Please comment if you like it, because a) I fear no one reads my blog these days b) I might make a few more c) I'm thinking of having a contest again. =D
